Polyunsaturated Omega-3 fats are not produced by the human body and can be obtained during consumption of such foods as fat and semi fat fish, flax seeds, flax, sesame and rape seed oils, beans, Chinese cabbage and broccoli. Omega-6 or GLA furthers production of the natural means of defence against different sicknesses called as prostaglandins. Sun flower, corn, soy and safflower oils as well as pumpkin, sesame, poppy, sun flower seeds, nuts and sprouted wheat are all rich in GLA. Omega-9 provides human body with the oleic acid, which is a part of the lipids the cell membranes do contain.
